Nanay, you were the first person in this world to hold me before my parents with the exceptions of the doctors. We love you and thank you for everything. You will be greatly missed.

Nanay Rosa, you have made a huge impression on those who have come to know you. I'm one of them. You always had that big smile that brightened up the room—like celestial fireworks against the clear night skies. Bright-eyed, and yes, your laughter? They were contagious! You just knew how to live life. If there was one thing you were not—a killjoy. 

You valued this life, and you went to great lengths to show how important it was to you to be that Mom and Grandma who was always up to whatever stroke your fancies. "Fun" must've been your nickname.

One of my vivid recollections of you was the first day meeting you. You were warm, and I felt it because you didn't hold back. The way I looked at your hospitality, was enough that I am Jessica's friend. That's all that you needed to know. 

From there, you didn't hesitate to share some good old memories of yours as I leafed through some of the pages of your treasured family photo albums you showed. Some call it having "people skills." I prefer, "beautiful soul."  

And, speaking of personal styles, yours had chased away the winter blues. Yes, your dear family has rooted and flourished, and I'm glad that you were around to see all that, for your watchful care was God's extension of His love for the family you raised.

Rest in peace now.


Your life is so well lived! Thank you for being an inspiration to your children and  grandchildren . Thank you for being my mom’s favorite sister in law . You were always there for us during our time of need. Your thoughtfulness and generosity will always be in hearts forever .  Heaven is waiting for you  ..Rest in heavenly peace Ate Rosa 🙏🙏

Heaven has truly gained such a beautiful angel. May you Rest In Peace, Nanay Rosa. We will miss you but we know you’ll keep dancing in heaven.
