Albert Joseph Robison

Al died peacefully with his children by his side on August 13, 2021. He was born May 29, 1941, to Albert Florian Kowal and Jeanette Lauer Robison in St. Louis, MO. He grew up in Ferguson, MO, and graduated from the University of Missouri in 1965, where he majored in Business and played baseball. Al loved making people laugh, animals, fishing, providing for his family, sweets, the beach, and telling stories. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served in the Air Force Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jamie Bankston Robison, and is survived by his children, Steve (Diane) Robison; Nancy (Scott) Schuch; and Hailey (Devin) Jacobsen, as well as his granddaughter Anna Robison; uncle, Dick (Roz) Lauer; brother, Gary (Sue) Robison, and sister, Marybeth (Mike) Meyer. The family would like to express gratitude to Mary Queen of Angels and The Meadows (Nashville, TN) for his care through dementia and at the end of his life.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home from

three until seven in the evening on Tuesday, August 17. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Community 14544 Lebanon Rd, Old Hickory, TN 37138 at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, August 18.
