Gordon Duane Gill

GILL, Gordon D., age 85 of Brentwood, TN passed away on May 4, 2010. Born in Galeton, PA and was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Hilfiger Gill and Dexter L. Gill; siblings, Leonard Gill, Kenneth Gill, Richard Gill, Donzella (Gill) Kefover and Marjorie (Gill) Cosentino. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Norma Horton Gill; two sons, Timothy G. (Margaret) Gill, Franklin and Steven P. (Karen) Gill, Nashville; and two granddaughters, Jennifer (Adam) Vazquez, Kate Gill, both of Franklin; brother, William A. (Leona) Gill, Galeton, PA; sister, Joanne (Don) Post of Galeton, PA. Gordon served in the European and Pacific Theatres for the U.S. Army during WWII. For 38 years he worked as a Certified Public Accountant in Franklin TN, a member of the First United Church UCC, a charter member of the Brentwood Rotary, and graduated from Gannon University in Erie, PA. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM, First United Church, 3410 Granny White Pike, Nashville with Dr. Bronson Netterville conducting services. Visitation will be on Friday, from four until seven at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East and one hour prior to service at the church.
