Josephine Waldrup

Josephine West Waldrup, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Williamson Medical Center. Mrs. Waldrup was preceded in death by her parents, John Quinn West and JoAddie Stovall West. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Earl Waldrup, who died in 2003. She is survived by daughter Joy Cobb and her husband Cal of Madison, WS; son, Jody Waldrup and his wife Cindy of Franklin; sister, Marjorie Sawyer of Sardis, MS; step mother, Deloise West of Sardis, MS; grandchildren, Chris and Telisha Cobb, Caroline Cobb, Abbi, Heather and Kori Waldrup; great grandchildren, Dylan and Arabella Cobb. A Celebration of Life will be at 2pm Friday, August 13, 2010 at ClearView Baptist Church, 537 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN with Brett Robbe and Mark Marshall officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Duvall, John Dodd, Brooks Tucker, Rus Roach, and members of the Women of Discovery Sunday School Class at ClearView Baptist Church. Mrs. Waldrup was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Sunday School teacher, author and actress, and most of all “Prayer Warrior”. Mrs. Waldrup had a ministry of encouragement and evangelism and assisted countless women with establishing life outside prison.
