Lance John Gremillion Jr.

Lance John Gremillion, Jr., born July 12, 1935, passed away August 10, 2010. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Louisville, KY and Bonita Springs, FL. Survived by wife of 54 years, Gail Hooley Gremillion and children Lance John (Rusty) Gremillion III (Christie) of Alabaster, AL; Nancy Back (Doug) of Lexington, KY; Hally Lockhart (Todd) of Brentwood, TN; Tom Gremillion (Jennifer) of Brentwood, TN and Leslie Keagy (Jaime) of Raleigh, NC, ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter; father, Lance John Gremillion, Sr. of Metairie, LA; brother, Richard (Gail) Gremillion of Mandeville, LA; and sister, Sharon Long of Metairie, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Baker Gremillion. Funeral Mass will be 11am Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Gremillion attended Tulane University, was a retired employee of Gulf Oil, BP Oil (Nashville, TN) and Kiel Brothers Oil (Louisville, KY), and a recipient of the University of Louisville Hickman Camp Award. Known affectionateley to loved ones as Pappy and golf buddies as Bump - his laughter will be missed by all.
