Lynn Ayers Manzelmann

Lynn Ayers Manzelmann—Age 54 of Nashville, Tennessee passed suddenly on September 26, 2010. Cherishing her memories, Lynn leaves her dear family, friends, co-workers and countless others whom she touched in some way. Lynn was the daughter of Samuel Hugh Ayers (dec. 6-28-92) and Hattie Ayers of Houston,Texas. She was the proud mother of three children, Rebecca Glenn Gindele and son-in law Josh, Daniel John Manzelmann, and Melissa Lynn Manzelmann, and “Mame” to grandsons Sam and Axel. Lynn shared her last years with her long-time friend and dear companion, Art Smith.

Lynn grew up in Texas. Like her home state, Lynn lived her life in big ways. She was sassy, full of spunk, and lit up the room when she walked in. She drew people to her like a magnet and made them roar with laughter. She embraced all who were lucky to know her.

Lynn served in the financial industry in Texas and later in Tennessee for nearly 30 years before becoming a partner at NXG Strategies in Brentwood, Tennessee. Whether at work, church, or in her family life, she was a passionate leader.

A consummate cheerleader since high school, she was a huge football fan. Lynn was a competitor and challenged those who knew her to be their best and go the extra mile. Lynn was the winner in the race of life.

Visitation with family will be on Thursday, September 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Chapel United Methodist Church 201 High Lea Road Brentwood, Tennessee 37027. The celebration of Lynn’s life will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Lynn’s family wishes to express their thanks to everyone.
