Pauline "Polly" Hill Boyd

Pauline Hill Boyd, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sol K. and Ida Pearl Fleming Hill; her husband, William Guerry Boyd III, brothers, John Hill, Thomas Hill, James Hill and Grady Hill; sisters, Elizabeth Wells, Virginia Gannon, Maggie Mae Burns, Ruby Lorance and Lucille Pitts.

She is survived by her children, William Guerry (Darinda) Boyd IV and Jan (Brett) Rodewald; brother, Eddie Hill and grandchildren, William G. Boyd V, Luke Barnhill and Ryan Barnhill.

Polly was a long time member of Brentwood United Methodist Church, worked for BellSouth and was a very social person, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing and was a homemaker for many years.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the chapel of Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
