Ralph Williams Sudberry

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beverley Woods Sudberry.

He is survived by his son, Steve (Jeannie) Sudberry of Brentwood, TN; and his daughter, Jan Sloan of Brentwood, TN; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Eloise McCay.

Born in 1926, Ralph grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He served in the United States Air Force and maintained a lifelong patriotic love for his country.

He retired in 1984 from Bellsouth after almost 40 years of service. He spent the last 32 years of his life fishing, tinkering with his ham radio, dancing, laughing with family and friends and loving his sweet wife.

Gathering of family and friends will be at Brentwood Roesch-Patton’s Funeral Chapel, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, Tennessee, on Monday, April 17, 2017, from five to eight o'clock in the evening and again on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from ten o'clock until noon. Burial services will follow at one o'clock in the afternoon at the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery on McCrory Lane in Nashville on Tuesday.
