Robert “Sam” Foster Parham, age 93, passed away on December 23, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hensley and Ora Lee Parham; wife, Virginia Parham and son, Michael Barber. Survived by his sons, Larry and Earl Parham; step children, Trixie (Ronnie) Barnhill, Jud (Susan) Whidby, Dorothy (Steve) Newcome, Jennie (Danny) Tolbert and Jamie (Jeff) Mangrum; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service, officiated by Jonathan Tolbert, will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 28th of December, 2013 at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with visitation held from eleven o’clock until the service time. Interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, Tenn.
