He was born May 31, 1945 in Santurce, Puerto Rico and came to Spring Hill 15 years ago from New York. He was a mailroom manager at The Conference Board, a research company. Tony loved to sing and belonged to a DooWop group when he was a teenager. He had a passion for baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He also loved cars and kept a 1972 Pontiac for 35 years. Whenever he and his family moved, the car came along. He was an avid gardner, loved to grow fruits and vegetables.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years: Alice Gonzalez; son: Jason Gonzalez; daughter: Michelle Gonzalez, all of Spring Hill, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary & Eddie Acevedo of Kissimmee, Florida and Eladia & Edward Silva of Rincon, Puerto Rico. two grandchildren: Rosalie and Anthony.
