Asa "Duane" Patterson

He was born October 7, 1953 in Brooksville, Florida and has been a resident of Dade City for over 30 years.  He served in the United States Marine Corp and worked as a Drag Line Operator for Florida Rock for over 20 years.  He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Patterson; son and daughter-in-law: Matt & Jennifer Norris of Lacoochee, Florida; daughters and son-in-law: Jennifer Allen of Chipley, Florida, Crystal & James Tigue of Live Oak, Florida and Erica Yusuf and companion, Danny Bright, of Dothan, Alabama; brothers: Brian Patterson and Eddie Patterson, both of Brooksville, Florida; sisters: Kay Hamm of Floral City and Joyce Baker of Ocala, Florida; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00pm, with Pastor Daniel Ishee officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery, with military honors.
