She was born December 1, 1945 in Paterson, New Jersey and came to this area 38 years ago from Linden, New Jersey. She was secretary in the automotive parts industry and a parishioner of St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church in Brooksville. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Brian Shortman; sons and daughter-in-law: Troy & Michelle Shortman of Bellevue, Florida and Brian C. Shortman of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter: Dawn Shortman of Summerfield, Florida; sister: Henrietta Angelillo; grandchildren: Jeremy and Sarah Shortman.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00am-1:00pm, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm at Brooksville Cemetery, with Deacon Manny Carriero officiating.
