Barry,  It's been a year and I wanted you and your family to know that you will never be forgotten. You were the most compassionate man I'd ever known and your sense of humor was such a breath of fresh air to so many of us.  Thank you for the years of your professionalism as our dentist and friend. Dr Weber (Barry) was my Dentist for 27 years. Over time we became good friends.  The outpouring of love and support yesterday is a testament to how many lives he touched.  As the minister said: " Dr Weber was there to take away our pain and to make us smile".  You did that that so well.  I will always miss you my friend..

Dr. Weber has been my dentist for about 25 years and he was the BEST.  Not only a good dentist but a wonderful human being.  He always smiled and made you laugh and feel at ease even when he brought that drill to your mouth. Never had a dentist make me so comfortable in a "dentist office" and he always had one of his gentle hugs before you left his office. I will miss him so much as I am sure all his family, friends and staff will. My love and prayers are with his wife, family and friends and also his staff whom I am sure finds it so hard to go into that office without him being there.

My heart goes out to Barry's family. He was such an amazing  man and will surely be missed by many. He always had a smile on his face and if you didn't have one on yours, he made it happen in a short period of time. I first met Barry back in the '90s. We lost touch for many years, until I brought my elderly Mom to him for some dental work a couple of years ago. He remembered me, gave me a warm greeting, and then applied his gentle disposition and dentistry skills to make Mom feel like she was the most special patient in the building. We both will miss him. I've read a great many testimonials today on Dr. Weber, mostly because reading them assuages my own sense of loss; there's no doubt that we find kinship in grief. I believe I have been blessed to be under the care of the most amazing doctors in Hernando County, and Barry Weber was among them. He sent me a card when I got married; he called me after a major surgery. He would hear my voice from another room and dash in (between patients) to say hello, even if I wasn't scheduled to see him that day. He'd ask about my children, my work, my mother, my vacations. He always greeted me with a smile, and said goodbye with a hug; that was Barry Weber, the every man, the small town dentist. But Dr. Barry Weber, DMD, also diagnosed me with a very serious medical condition that greatly reduced my enjoyment of life, and could have killed me. And then he hounded me about it until I finally saw a specialist. I wouldn't be the person I am today, without his intervention. Hell, I might not even be here today, without his particular and peculiar approach to dentistry. He exited this life quickly and harshly, and without warning. And I only hope that his wife and his family can take comfort in stories like this; the stories of the (surely thousands of) lives that he's touched. May he be forever in our hearts and our minds, and may we all pray that his family, friends, and loved ones can find peace.

Doc, out of all the dentists Wendy and I have had for the past many years of our lives, you and yours stood out as the most complete personable one ever.You touched my heart when you asked how Wendy was doing every time you saw me.
