He was the owner of Feather to Feather Exotic Birds and a member of various Native American lodges, bird and aviary clubs. He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Debbie of Brooksville, FL; brothers: Leonard Stafford, Jr., and Billy Joe Stafford; sisters: Barbara Ann Amburgey; Laura Kay Steele and Brenda Louise Hoyt.
