VAUGHN, Charles L., age 82 of Spring Hill, FL died Aug. 23, 2005 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson, FL. Born in Maxeys, Georgia he came here 22 years ago from St. Petersburg, FL. He retired after 34 years as an engineer with General Telephone, St. Petersburg, was a WWII U.S. Army Air Force Veteran, an avid square dancer and of the Protestant faith.Survivors include his Wife: Hazel; Son & Daughter-in-law: Alan & Jean Vaughn of Charlotte, NC; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Charlene & Tom Scott of Fair Play, SC and Peggy & Brian Johns of St. Petersburg; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Clarence & Edna Vaughn of Foley, AL and John & Jo Vaughn of Napierville, IL; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Elizabeth & Milton Davis of Birmingham, AL and Mary & Alfred Mardis of Tallahassee, FL; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.Visitation for friends will be 7 ? 8pm, Thurs., Aug. 25, 2005 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL. Military honors will be conducted 10:00am, Fri., Aug. 26, 2005 at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
