Christa Murwin

MURWIN, Christa Wilson, age 44, of Brooksville, Florida, passed Monday April 11, 2016. She was a 1989 Hernando High School graduate. Her career consisted of 15 years at the Southwest Florida Water Management District and most currently at Mid-Florida Community Services. Preceded in death by biological father, Roy Hopkins, Jr., and brother, Richard Wilson; she is survived by her loving mother, Joy Jackson; adoptive father Carl Wilson, debut father Jesse Peterson; three children, Joshua Sr., Sydney and Hayley; siblings, sister Cherie Plourde, brother Robert Wilson; grandchildren, Joshua Murwin Jr., and Talan Russ; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Merritt Funeral Home-Brooksville Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to All Children’s Hospital. A covered dish family and friends gathering will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016, 12:00 pm, at Cloverleaf Heather House, 900 North Main Street, Brooksville, Florida.
