Daniel Edward McIntyre

MCINTYRE, Daniel Edward, 29, died September 12, 2012. Born March 9, 1983, Daniel was the son of Dan and Phyllis McIntyre. He began school in Brooksville, Florida before moving to Tifton, Georgia with his parents. Currently, Daniel was employed by Marlin Security Networks in Orlando. He was at work on September 12 when he collapsed and was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center. Daniel was an avid sports fan.  Participating in football and baseball during his formative years, he was a great fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Dan had a sharp wit and a kind heart and loved people. He was gifted with the ability to communicate and was adept at customer relations. He often went the extra mile to help others. Daniel is survived by his mother and father, Dan and Phyllis; sister, Katie McIntyre and his paternal grandmother, Betty Lee and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial  gathering will be from 3-4:00pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, with memorial services beginning at 4:00pm with Reverend Bob Hope officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association, Central Florida Chapter, 370 CenterPointe Circle, #1154, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
