JONES, David E., age 62 of Spring Hill passed away Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Bayfront Health Spring Hill. Born in Washington, DC he came to this area in 1981 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He worked in construction and was a member of Hope Community Bible Church in Spring Hill. Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Sharon; daughter: Crystal Jones of Lexington, KY; mother: Rochelle Jones and sister: Sharon Jones of Hixson, TN. Visitation for friends will be 6-8pm Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted 11am Friday May 2, 2014 at Hope Community Bible Church in Spring Hill. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice or Gideons Society.
