He was born November 16, 1942 in Hastings, Minnesota and came to this area 18 years ago from St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a United States Navy veteran and retired from the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the National Street Rod Association, Good Guys Rod and Custom Association, Minnesota Street Rod Association and the Nature Coast Breakfast Car Club.
He is survived by his wife: Susan J. Geiken; daughters: Tami Lee of Randolph, Minnesota and Brenda Borreson of Wisconsin; stepson: Jay Enderson of Albert Lea, Minnesota; stepdaughter: Justine Jensen of Rochester, Minnesota; brothers: Maurice Geiken of Maplewood, Minnesota and Robert Geiken of Hastings, Minnesota; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
