GONZALEZ, M.D., Dennis, age 67, of Spring Hill, FL passed away September 13, 2017 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in New York, New York and was a U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran. Dr. Gonzalez was a physician with Nature Coast Center for Primary Care, a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Hernando Aero-Modelers Club. Predeceased by parents: Enrique Gonzalez and Dulce Portal Gonzalez; he is survived by wife: Robin Gonzalez; sons: Dennis Jr., (Annette) and Philip Progar; daughter: Erica Gonzalez; brothers: Ramon and Enrique, Jr.; sisters: Susana, Bertha, and Olga; 4 grandchildren: Cassandra, Madelyn, Kira and Dennis III. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm Monday, September 18, 2017 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
