She was born August 17, 1941 in Brooksville, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of Florida. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Wilson & Margaret Hammock; daughter: Lydia Cole; sister: Dorothy Bennett. She is survived by her husband: Joe Baker; daughters and son-in-law: Ivonda Jennings of Floral City, Florida and Karen & Jim Audett of Westminster, Colorado; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby & Tom Marcano of Jasper, Florida and Lenora & Dennis Bartosek of Erie, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Adam Wimberley, April Joiner, Tina Burnette, Elyse Anderson, Alex Wimberley, Stacy Salazar, Jeremy Audett, David Cole; 15 great-grandchildren; also, several nieces, nephews and others who called her mom - “Gigi.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
