He was born May 24, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan and came to this area 24 years ago. He is survived by his wife: Diane Becker; sons: Frank, Sam and Bill Swartz of Michigan and Gus Swartz of Colorado; daughter: Becky Owen of Michigan; brothers: Jerry and George Swartz of Michigan; sisters: Eva Beckon and Helen of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30pm, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, with Pastor Thomas Almond Officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Jericho Road Ministries and/or 2nd Chance Ministry.
