He was born August 20, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan and came to Brooksville 18 years ago from Houghton Lake, Michigan. He was a carpenter by trade and was Protestant by faith.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ona Barry; sisters, Ethel Eckert and Gladys. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Alan & Dee Barry of Allen Park, Michigan; daughter and son-in-law, Diane & Steve Gunther of Allen Park, Michigan; grandchildren, Jason Barry (Jess), Jennifer Ortiz (Charlie), Steven Gunther Jr. (Whitney), Jonathon Gunther (Marlisa), Shannon Gunther, and Brandy Alexander (Dave); great-grandchildren, Elijah Ortiz, Cole Barry, Zoey Barry, Selina Alexander, and Quinn Alexander.
