Born October 1, 1928 in Sayre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George and Ruby (Williams) Harris and came to Hernando County 26 years ago from Denton, Maryland. He was a faithful servant to the Lord and former pastor of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Nora E. Harris; sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald & Sherri Harris of North Carolina, Gary & Donna Harris of Brooksville, Florida and Glenn Harris & Michele Dunnum of Ann Arbor, Michigan; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Maryland.
