He worked in plaster & drywall construction, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of the Brooksville Assembly of God Church.Survivors include his Wife: Arlene G. Thompson; Son: Ronald Thompson of W VA; Daughters: Laura Daniel of Brooksville, Carmi Johnson of Batavia, IL,Tina Beaugher of Corpis Christie, TX, Julia Hobbs of Anchorage, AS & Arlene Ballenger of Brooksville; Sister: Geraldine DeLong of MN; 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchildren.Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm, Thur., Sept. 29, 2005 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am, Fri., Sept. 30, 2005 at the Brooksville Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery.
