He was born August 11, 1952 in Faial Azores, Portugal and came to Spring Hill 15 years ago from Massachusetts. He worked as a commercial fisherman and was Christian by faith.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Christina M. & Darell Souza of Brooksville, Florida and Melissa & Scott Dixon of West Port, Massachusetts; his brothers, Humberto Dutra, Eudino Dutra, Eduardo Dutra, Fernando Dutra, Jamie Dutra, and Jose Dutra; sisters, Maria Vassalo and Fatima Duta; and grandchildren, Noah Souza, Faith Audette, Ethan Souza, Arianna Dixon, and Jonathan Dixon.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, August 24, 2020 at The Rock Church, with Pastor Chris Mundell officiating. Burial at Brooksville Cemetery will follow.
