PFENNIG, Howard Allen, age 54, of Zephyrhills, FL died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Heritage Park. He was born in Monroe, MI and came to the area 39 years ago from Monroe. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a former dishwasher and cook. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He loved his Hungry Howies Pizza. He was pre-deceased by his father, Edwin C. Pfennig, his mother, Delores Schmelz Pfennig, his paternal grandparents, Henry and Velma Pfennig and his maternal grandparents, Allen and Ione Schmelz and his step-brother, Thomas Pfennig. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Jack and Linda Pfennig of Crystal Springs, FL; Steven and Stacy Pfennig of Zephyrhills, FL. Visitation for friends will be 10:00-11:00am, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Zephyrhills, FL where funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate.
