Irene Jean Andrews

She was born in Pennsylvania and lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1967. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Allen E. Andrews; son, Edward Andrews, daughters, Penny Nichols, Linda Napier, Dee Meyers, and Connie Macarages. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Albert of Harrisville, PA; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Frank Andrews; daughter, Nancy Bailey; great-granddaughter, Violet Andrews; her parents, Frank Lyons and Ruth Lyons; brother, Barney Lyons; sisters, Ruth Sanderson and Lois Geary.

A Visitation for Irene will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10:30-11:30am at Merritt Funeral Home, 2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, where Funeral Services begin at 11:30am. A committal service will follow at 2:00pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6504 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
