DENNISON, Janet A., 77, of Brooksville, FL, died April 13, 2015 at Heartland of Brooksville. She was born in Dover, NJ and came to the area 62 years ago from Yankeetown, FL. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association and a lifetime member of DAV. She is survived by sons: LaVerne R. Dennison; Scott Dennison; daughters: Vera Cannon and Debbie Palmer, all of Brooksville, FL; Edna Moore of Burnsville, MS; Dianne Kenney of DeFuniak Springs, FL; brothers: Joe Lake of Brooksville, FL; Karl Lake of Kodak, TN; Jack Lake of Orlando, FL; Bill Lake, of Punta Gorda, FL; sisters: Rose Whitehurst of Brooksville, FL; Frances Cook of Fruitland Pk, FL; Edna Blakely of Easton, MD; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday April 16, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am, Friday, April 17, 2015 with Reverend Thomas Derryberry officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
