Jeffery Lee Lane

He worked as a dispatcher for Cemex (Florida Crushed Stone) just shy of 32 years.  He was his sons’ biggest fan and he loved coaching little league baseball and assisting them in All-Stars and everything sports.  He loved hunting, fishing, mowing his yard, scalloping, grilling, hunting in Steinhatchee, and traveling the world.  Jeff's most treasured accomplishment was being a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He taught us to enjoy every moment life has to offer, and he will be deeply missed.

Jeff is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Lane.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rhonda Mayo Lane; sons and daughter-in-law, Jamie & Megan Lane of Hernando Beach, Florida and Jesse Lane of Pensacola, Florida; parents, Earl Edward Lane and Doris Carolyn (Polk) Lane of Chiefland, Florida; and brother and sister-in-law, Daryl & Kathy Lane.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00-4:00pm, Friday, July 1, 2022 at First United Methodist Church of Brooksville, where Services begin at 4:00pm, with Reverend Clark Douglas McClain officiating.  A reception will follow services at the Fellowship Hall.
