CHISHOLM, John H., age 78 of Brooksville died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Brooksville Regional hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY he came here 23 years ago from Berea, KY. He was a retired Professor for Eastern Kentucky University after 20 years of service and was most proud of teaching children at the elementary level in Kentucky, Fort Lauderdale, FL, teaching for 10 years at Mitchell L. Black Elementary retiring in 1991, also taught English to foreign born adults, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of the American Legion Post #99 and St. John's Episcopal Church both of Brooksville.Survivors include his Wife: Dorothy; 5 Daughters: Deborah L. Durno of LaBelle, FL, Judith T. Chisholm of Lake Worth, FL, Janine M. Dillon of Augusta, GA, Roberta L. Ruce of Chesapeake, VA and Alison P. Anglin of Clarksville, GA; 1 Sister: Jean Clark of Jacksonville, FL; 5 Grandsons: Matthew R. & Brian M. Durno both of LaBelle, FL, Joshua B. & Zachary W. Anglin both of Clarksville, GA & Erik C.
