John Cueba

CUEBA, John, age 87 of Spring Hill, FL died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Sturgill Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, FL.  Born in Ybor City, Florida he moved to Spring Hill 24 years ago from Bayshore, Long Island, New York.  He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL.  Survivors include his wife:  Victoria; sons:  Richard Cueba of Stamford, CT and Jose A. Santamaria of Allen, TX; daughters & son-in-law:  Carol Cueba-Jones of Stratford, CT and Gisela and Sean Ramnarine of Pinellas Park, FL; brothers:  Andres Cuevas and Cosme Cuevas both of New York; grandchildren:  Ashley Kitts, Darol Cueba-Jones, Rachel Ramnarine, Alessandra Ramnarine, Shane Ramnarine, Deanna Ramnarine, Erika Santamaria, Lucas Santamaria and Ryan Raccuia.  Visitation for friends will be 3 – 5 & 7 – 9pm, Wed., June 1, 2011 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where funeral services will begin at 7:15pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
