

Born on October 31, 1928 in New York, New York, he was the son of the late John Christian Fieber and Melita Klages. On March 13, 2013, Jack married Patricia Sharp in Hernando County, Florida, marking the beginning of a cherished partnership.
Jack proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated 20 years to the St. Petersburg Police Department and another 20 years as a St. Petersburg Sheriff's Deputy. His career was marked by a steadfast dedication to public service and safety.
In his personal time, Jack enjoyed golfing and was an active member of the Brookridge Golf Association. He also found joy in playing cards with friends and loved watching Old Westerns.
Jack is preceded in passing by his son, Dennis Fieber.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Sharp; his grandchildren, Greg Porter (Tina) and Laurel O’Brien (John); his daughter-in-law, Kathy Porter; and four great-grandchildren.
Jack's life was characterized by his deep commitment to those he loved and the community he served. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Jack will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. There will be a special procession at 9:30am from Merritt Funeral Home (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601) to Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513). The Committal Service will begin at 10:30am with military honors.
