He was born November 13, 1931 in Long Branch, New Jersey and came to the area 14 years ago from Oceanport, New Jersey. He was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran and was owner of an electrical contracting business.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Georgia Harris; sons and daughters-in-law: Timothy & Irene Harris of Massapequa, New York, Kevin & Beth Harris of Merritt Island, Florida and John & Denise Harris of Tyler, Texas; daughters: Jeanette Harris and Maureen McKinney, both of Spring Hill, Florida; sister: Emma Ducey of Little Silver, New Jersey; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
