Joseph F. Leonhardt, Jr.

He was born in Passaic, New Jersey on June 1, 1942 and came to this area 20 years ago from West Paterson, New Jersey.  He was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran.  He worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Ridge Manor where he served as an usher.  He was a great fan of all sports and assisted with Bingo at St. Anne and the Ridge Manor Community Center. 

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Rod Rojas of Michigan, Dale and Charles Hughes of Spring Hill, Florida, Michelle and Glenn Maves of Ridge Manor, Florida; six grandchildren, Katlyn Maves, Alex Rojas, Justin Maves, Nathan Rojas, Taelor Hughes, Brett Hughes. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm Noon, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church.  A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.  Inurnment with military honors will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, March 31, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
