He was born December 13, 1949 in Helena, Arkansas and came to Brooksville 26 years ago from Illinois. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired with the rank of Navy Chief Petty Officer. He loved woodworking and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Laura Daniel; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina Flores & Kyle McCabe of Florida and Rose Lynn Daniel & Art of Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law, James Daniel of Tennessee and Larry Jr. & Angela Daniel of Michigan; stepson and daughter-in-law, Randall & Jaime Labak of Arizona; brother, Dwight Daniel of Florida; and 14 grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm with military honors beginning at 2:00pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.
