Lillian L MacDonell

MACDONELL, Lillian Lewis, age 76 of Brooksville, FL died October 3, 2010 at her home. She was born in Brooksville, FL and moved back from Kendall, FL in 1962. She was a homemaker.  She was an outstanding graduate of Homestead High School, Class of 1952 as drum majorette, scholar and musician. She earned her BA degree in History from Blue Mountain College in Mississippi, taught grade school in Ocala, and was a long-time member of the Philadelphia Church of God. Her survivors include her sons George, Sammy (Cindy), Andy (Cindy) and Danny, her daughter Margot and her sisters Doris Wysong (Herb) and Mary Ann DeWitt, 6 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Billy. Visitation for friends will be from 6:30-8:00pm Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00am Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Brooksville Cemetery with Pastor Eric Anderson officiating.
