My sincere condolences to Donnie and Linda's family and friends in the loss of Linda. Linda was Shady Hills Elementary Principal's Secretary for 30 years. I met her there in 1981, when I started teaching there. She always had a beautiful, bright smile and encouraging word for everyone who passed her desk every day. She kept the attendance for every student every day all those years with paper and pencil, contacted parents, kept the cumulative files on every student for all the years they attended Shady Hills, answered the phone, typed letters for the Principal and hand wrote every student's awards in calligraphy, among many other things in her time there. She was a kind, creative, efficient, caring, lovely Christian lady that I am thankful and blessed to have known. Love you, Linda. See you again in Heaven, I hope. Jan (Sasser) Coad

Linda was such a precious lady. When Dave and I first came to the church Linda was at the door to welcome us. We became friends quickly. Linda always would compliment me on my eyeliner, bless her heart😘❤️. She said she wished she was younger and would have it done as I did tattooed on. We love Linda and know we will see her again in Glory.

You have been & will always be a very dear & very loved Sister in CHRIST.  The LORD has blessed me Abundantly bringing you into my life. 
You were the first to welcome me at Gulf Ridge. You embraced me as though you've known me for years. 
I cherish the time we spent together setting up for Church luncheons, helping you in the Fellowship Hall and kitchen. The many years receiving your guidance, love and laughter in the  Food Pantry. I am so grateful we spoke on the phone for an hour + just a month ago. Sharing our hopes, concerns and love. Encouraging each other with Our LORDS Truth and promise that you & I will see each other again in Eternal Life with JESUS. 
I am Thankful for the time GOD granted us and I Rejoice, for you are now in the presence of our Glorious LORD JESUS.

Very saddening to learn of Li da’s passing! She was always such a pleasant person at Shady Hills, I have lots fond memories of.  Prayers and much love to her family and friends. She has definitely left an impression in my life. ❤️

Prayers go out to Donnie and family.  Linda was - what I referred to her as - a social butterfly.  She kept everyone up-to-date at the Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church; where I met her.  She was a lovely person and will be missed.

We will miss Linda, she touched so many lives.  I met her just about five years ago, we became good friends.  She always had a smile, encouragement was second nature to her.   Although gone from us, we know where she is and she is celebrating with loved ones now.  My prayers for the family, especially Donnie.  We never understand God's plan until we get there, we just have to rest in the knowledge that He is in control, He knows best, and even in our saddest moments, He's right beside us.
