She was born July 2, 1940 in Jacksonville, Alabama and came to Brooksville 46 years ago from St. Petersburg, Florida. She worked as a Caregiver, was a Chairwoman for the Democratic Women's Club, and founder of Rape Crisis Center. She was Protestant by faith.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Tucker. She is survived by her husband, Jay Tucker; son, Jeff Tucker of Brooksville, Florida; daughters, Kelly Morrell and Lara Kennedy of Brooksville, Florida and Carolyn Konak of Spring Hill, Florida; brother, Leamon Davis of Floral City, Florida; sister, Theresa Rousis of St. Petersburg, Florida; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, with Pastor David Garcia officiating.
