Luz Perales

She was born on May 16, 1961 in New York, New York to Jose Luis Camacho and Ramona Oliveras-Camacho.

She is survived by daughter, Vanessa of Spring Hill, FL; sister, Mariluz of Raleigh, NC; sister, Marisol; brother, Nino of Spring Hill; nieces and nephews; Jessalyn Santiago, Jason Camacho, Bobby Barazza, Christina Santiago, Michael-Scott Barazza, & William Santiago Jr.; Brother-in-laws; William Santiago & Roberto Barazza.

Luz was a very accomplished professional who earned much recognition and success as an Underwriter for AIG in New York City. She had a deep love for the New York Yankees and her Puerto Rican culture. She loved traveling and sharing her experiences with her family and friends. Most notably, Luz was very family oriented and valued quality time with her daughter and extended family. Luz will be greatly missed and is very deeply loved.

 A Gathering will be held from 1:00-2:00pm, Monday, August 31, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00pm.
