

Lyle Edward Wilson, 71, of Brooksville Florida, passed away on April 17 following a brief illness. Lyle was the second of six children of Alvin T. Wilson and Geraldine Linkous Wilson. He was born November 14, 1951 in Niles, Michigan. His family moved from Maitland Superior, West Virginia to Weeki Wachee, Florida in the summer of 1959. He attended school in Brooksville, Florida and matriculated from Hernando High School in the class of 1969. Lyle was an excellent student and athlete and won the Tom Fisher Scholar Athlete Award his senior year. Lyle started pursuing Sue Anna Snow in middle school, and married this love of his life in 1973. He attended the University of Florida and was a general contractor for most of his career. His reputation drew a client list that never ended and he built beautiful, custom homes in Alachua and Hernando Counties. Lyle's passion for his extended family was awe inspiring and set the standard, especially giving his best to his mother, widowed at an early age, and many others. Lyle gave his Heart away the evening of April 17. He is survived by his wife, Sue Snow Wilson of Brooksville, Florida. He is also survived by sister in law Sara Snow, siblings Jerry (Nancy) Wilson, Donna (Chuck) Allen, Danny (Kathy) Wilson, Alice (Dave) Bruni, and David (Sandy) Wilson, and many beloved neices, nephews, and great neices and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist School Center of Brooksville Florida, 109 South Broad Street.
