MARGARET EMMA SMITH MYERS passed away on August 14, 2020 at the age of 95 in Brooksville, Florida. Born in Cloquet Carlton, Minnesota and grew up in Cameron, Missouri before marrying and moving to Florida where she resided for a number of years raising her children. She became a resident of Lafayette County in 1977 residing first in Lewisville, Arkansas and then settling in Stamps, Arkansas before moving to Brooksville, Florida to be cared for by her son. She was a homemaker, mother, and devoted wife. She worked as a secretary in the nursing department at SAU for a number of years.
She is predeceased by her husband, Billy L. Myers; her son, Gary E. Myers; and her parents, Benett B. & Ruth S. Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Terry L. Myers and her son, Greg K. Myers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
