Nellie Mae Rowland

ROWLAND, Nellie Mae, age 85 of Brooksville, Florida, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at her home.  Born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, she and her family moved to Brooksville 48 years ago from Zephyrhills, Florida.  She retired after 30 years as a bookkeeper for the Hernando County Tax Collectors Office and she was a member of the Brooksville Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Rowland, Sr. and children, Clyde R. Rowland, Jr. and Linda Rowland Pilcher.  Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law:  Judy Carter and Ron Lubosco of Brooksville; grandchildren:  Nathan Carter, Laura Carter Smoot, Kristi Rowland Griffin, Meghan E. R. Pilcher and Suzi Rowland; step grandchildren:  Ronald P. Lubosco, Daniel G. Lubosco, Marissa L. Hawley and Scott Pilcher; and numerous great grandchildren.  Visitation for friends will be 6 – 8pm, Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Brooksville Church of Christ with Mr. Kent Heaton officiating.  Burial will follow next to her husband at Brooksville Cemetery.
