She was born March 27, 1918 in Missouri and started coming to Florida over 70 years ago. She was the owner and operator of her own beauty shop and was Christian by faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Sherwood; daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Larry Ridley; and her siblings. She is survived by her three grandchildren and their spouses, Brent & Patricia Ridley, Richard & Debra Ridley, and Cynthia & Mike Ridley; and four great-grandchildren.
