Patricia A. Layton

LAYTON, Patricia, 72, of Brooksville, FL died Sunday, December 26, 2010. She was born in New Brighton, PA on July 29, 1938 to beloved mother, Ruth Tunno Moch, New Brighton, PA, now deceased and  Anthony Tunno of Altoona, FL.  She moved to St. Petersburg in 1972, then to Clearwater in 1986 and to Brooksville, FL in 2007. She retired from co-owning and co-managing Hamilton Apartments for 13 years and Colony Apartments for 14 years located in North St. Petersburg, FL. She was a resident of Feather Sound for 22 years. Greatest love in life was her family and friends. Her other interests were country line dancing, travel, cooking, collecting glassware, gardening and oil painting, in that order. A special joy was her Red Hat sisters from the retired Red Hat Sassie Lassies of St. Petersburg. She is survived by her husband: Charles Sr., of Clearwater and Brooksville; son: Charles Jr., of St. Petersburg; daughter: Cindy of Wesley Chapel, FL; father: Anthony Tunno of Altoona, FL; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ginger and Ron Smith of Canton, OH;  Carol and Francis (Sonny) Delisio of New Brighton, PA; three nephews, one niece and many grandnieces and nephews, special cousin Mary Ann Hildebrand and her husband Jack of St. Petersburg, FL; plus various cousins in PA and friend for life, Lois Keeler, New Brighton, PA; last but  not least is granddog Isabel. There will be no visitation at the request of the deceased. Private burial will be at the Brooksville Cemetery.
