Born July 5, 1940 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, he came to the area over 50 years ago. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a land surveyor and together with Jimmy Coffin, they owned Coffin & McLean Land Surveyors.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Elise L. McLean and his brothers, Brian M. McLean and Dale McLean. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Dale & Stephanie McLean of Slatington, Pennsylvania, Tracy & Sheri Williams of Tallahassee, Florida, and Bryan & Christina Williams of Weeki Wachee, Florida; brothers: Thomas and John "TJ" McLean, both of Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren.
