Patsy I. Elliott

ELLIOTT, Patsy I., age 68 of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Gainesville, FL.  She was born in Avon Park, FL and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, FL. Her family was one of the pioneering families of Hernando County. She was employed as an emergency room clerk in the health care industry and was a charter member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church where she was very active. She was also an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan. Preceded in death by her husband: James R. Elliott, she is survived by sons: James R. Elliott of Pensacola, FL; Patrick Elliott of Boone, NC;  daughter: Pamela J. Elliott; daughter & son-in-law: Tracy A. and Eric Washburn; great aunt: Margaret Ragan;  brothers: Carl and Edward Wayne Patterson, all of Brooksville, FL; sisters: Frances Griffen of Brooksville, FL; Mary Coburn of Seffner, FL; Wanda Piner of Ridge Manor, FL; Sandra Walton of Brooksville, FL; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.  Visitation for friends will be 11am-1pm, Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
