GRIFFITH, Robert Edward, age 73 of Brooksville died Monday, March 1, 2004. Born in Baxter, West VA he came here 43 years ago from Fairmont, West VA. He was retired Coordinator of Special Services for Hernando County Public Schools, also employed by City of Brooksville Police Dept.1961-1964, President & Treasure of Hernando Historical Museum Association, a U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brooksville.Preceded in death by his parents, Verner, Sr. & Zana Griffith and brother, Verner Griffith, Jr.Survivors include his Wife: Mary Frances; Beloved father of Sons: Mark Christopher(Kim) & Michael Lee Griffith both of Brooksville; Daughters: Sherrie Lynn(Eric) Kudla & Rebecca(John) Romine both of Brooksville; Beloved PaPaw of : Megan Archbell, Jordan Romine, Loren Romine, Hayden Griffith; Uncle: Robert LeVelle of Core, West VA.Visitation for friends will be 6-8pm, Wed., Mar. 3, 2004 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00am, Thurs., Mar. 4, 2004 at First United Methodist Church, Brooksville with Rev. Doug Zipperer officiating.
