HAMMOND, Robert “Bob”, age 63 of Spring Hill passed away peacefully in his sleep August 18, 2010. Born in Boston, MA he came to this area from Suffolk County, NY. He retired as a detective with the Suffolk County Police Department, was a US Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and an avid golfer. He was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Reggie Brett. He is survived by his son: Robert Hammond and twin daughters: Sharyn and her husband Michael Lucarelli and Karen Jenner; brothers & sister-in-law Richard and Trish Hammond and Brian Hammond and fiance Carolee; 9 grandchildren and many friends. A memorial gathering will take place 2-4pm Sun., August 22, 2010 at the Merrritt Funeral Home, 4095 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, FL where a memorial service will be conducted at 3:30pm.
