Ronald Thomas Johnson

92, of Spring Hill, FL passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born in Toronto, Canada and lived in Brooksville, Summerfield, and Highlands, NC prior to Spring Hill. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony the Abbot church in Brooksville. Ron was an avid golfer and loved to teach line dancing. Ron was a remarkable, brilliant, and visionary man. He served four years in the Canadian Navy, aboard the HMCS Huron. Ron, along with his wife Veronica, and his son Dave, founded Accuform Signs in 1976 when they moved from Georgetown, Ontario, building a wonderful life and a family legacy not only for themselves but for everyone who were blessed to be a part of the Accuform family. Ron will be truly missed by everyone who has known him. His infectious smile and laughter will always make us smile.

He was married 70 years to his wife Veronica. A remarkable love story.

He is survived by his sons and daughter in laws Dave and Tracy Johnson, Wayne and Cyndi Johnson of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren Dena Murphy (John), Paul Johnson (Kristel), Brian Johnson (predeceased), Matthew Johnson, Shannon Sieber (Ron); 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church in Brooksville, FL with a reception to follow at the church hall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Church, Operation HeartF.E.L.T, or Children, Inc.
